FIRSTNAZ is led by a team of dedicated, educated, and experienced leaders who love their church. 

  • Paul Clark, Lead pastor

    Paul Clark was born and raised in Lewiston, and grew up as an active member at Lewiston FirstNaz. After graduating from Lewiston High School he attended Northwest Nazarene University, and Asbury Theological Seminary to prepare academically to be a pastor. Since 2008 he has served in full-time ministry, most of that time as a pastor in Central Washington, and most recently as a missionary in Ecuador.


    Paul loves to challenge people to be obedient to Jesus, and to see God change people’s lives. He finds refreshment in strong cups of coffee, long bicycle rides, and telling dad jokes to his daughters.


    Paul is married to Alyssa, who also grew up in Lewiston. They have two daughters, Rosalie and Evelyn. Do you have questions for Paul? Click here.

  • Bill bull, associate pastor

    Bill is our Associate Pastor of Administration and Pastoral Care, managing our office and taking care of a large assortment of responsibilities and activities that are a part of church life at FirstNaz. He has served as a pastor since 1993,  and been a staff member at FirstNaz since 2010. He has been married to Bonnie for over 50 years!  They have three children and eleven grandchildren.   • Becca Remer, ASSOCIATE PASTOR

    Becca is our Associate Pastor who oversees curriculum for the children's, youth, and young adult ministries. You'll also see her at the main desk in the office a couple days a week. Becca has served in a variety of ministry areas in a lay leader role for many years before entering into vocational ministry in 2018 as a Children's and Family Pastor in Lakewood, WA. She joined the staff at FirstNaz in October 2021.

  • Ryan Pennington, Associate Pastor

    Ryan is the newest member of FirstNaz Staff and is our Connections Pastor.  You may see him when you first come in the doors as a welcome to our Sunday Services or up on the platform on the worship team.  Ryan has served as a lead pastor as well as worship and youth pastor in his previous assignments.  He has been a pastor for 18 years in the Church of the Nazarene.  

    Ryan loves coffee in all its forms, hiking, hunting, and any activity with his family!  Ryan has been married to Tanisia for 21 years and has two teenage children - Mikaela (17) and Riley (16).   Questions for Ryan?  Click here.
